Friendly Reminders For Currently Enrolled ESS Families:
* If your child will not be attending ESS for the day, please send the ESS supervisor an email or call the ESS office directly.
The more we know the better we do to keep all our ESS students safe!
* All AM student drop off requires parent or adult to walk their child direclty to the ESS room to sign in for the morning hours. This applies to our AM or Full time ESS students ONLY!
If your child(ren) are PM (after school care) only, no need to sign them in for the morning.
* Daily ESS Hours - 6:30 AM- 6:00 PM - Monday through Friday.
We do not offer extended hours or care after the 6:00 PM hour. Late fees will apply for late pick ups.

Frequently Asked Summer And Fall ESS Registration Questions:
When I can sign up my child(ren) into Creekside’s ESS Summer and/or Fall 2018-2019 program?
All currently enrolled ESS families have priority to enroll for both our Fall and Summer programs.
Our Summer and Fall registration will be open to those families on our current waitlist in May 2018. If you are interested in attending our Summer and/or Fall programs and you are not currently on our waitlist, please email our ESS supervisor ONLY - firstname.lastname@example.org
I have an incoming TK/Kindergartener who will be registered at Creekside for the 2018-2019 school year. When can I expect to register my child into the Creekside ESS Summer and the Fall school year program?
All Currently enrolled ESS students whom have incoming TK/K siblings are given priority registration for both our Summer and Fall programs. Creekside ESS will officially open registration for all incoming TK/K students on the same date in May as the school office will be hosting TK/K registration night.
We do ask that Creekside families with an incoming TK/K student who are interested in our program email Ms. Gracie directly for more information.
When will Summer 2018 registration be open for all other families whom are not currently enrolled in ESS?
All other Creekside families who are not currently enrolled in ESS will be able to register (only if space is available!!) in the month of May. All Creekside families who are not currently enrolled into ESS are encouraged to email Ms. Gracie directly regarding potential waitlist, dates and other information as needed.
Is a Summer 2018 ESS calendar available with Summer session dates, fees and closed dates available in the event we do get into the Summer 2018 ESS program?
Yes, our 2018 ESS calendar dates and fees is now available. All closed dates, all three summer 2018 session dates and fees are included. Please email ESS supervisor if interested in our Summer 2018 ESS calendar.

Mission Statement - "E.S.S. is a bridge between school and home where children are encouraged to learn, create, and explore within their school, community, and world."
Program Overview - This extended-day program expands the excellence of each child's school experience into before and after school. E.S.S. is staffed by highly qualified professionals and trained program assistants. The staff provides for the academic and social needs of children in safe and nurturing environments. There is time, space, encouragement, and support for learning good study habits.
Program History - The E.S.S. program began in 1980 and is now offered in every elementary school in the Poway Unified School District. All children who attend elementary school in the District are eligible to enroll.
Program Activities - Our program is geared toward expanding each child's world through arts & crafts projects, science activities, reading and language arts reinforcement, and math concept development. Our program reinforces the social, motor, and academic skills children learn in the classroom.
Hours - E.S.S. is open Monday - Friday. Our hours are 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. These hours remain the same for Spring Break, President's Week and all three Summer sessions.
