Enrollment and Registration Process

We’re excited to partner with you in your child’s educational journey. Getting started is simple—our enrollment and registration process is organized into clear categories so you can find exactly what you need.

2026-2027 New Student Enrollment (Starting February 2, 2026)

This is for any student that is new to PUSD, including Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students, even if their siblings are already PUSD students.

New Student Enrollment for the current school year will remain open.

Continuing Student Registration (March 2 - 31, 2026)

This registration option is for students currently enrolled in Poway Unified schools grades TK-11, who will be returning for the 2026-2027 school year.

Preschool Enrollment

Registration is open year-round! PUSD Preschool Programs are for families with 3 year olds and offers age-appropriate, dynamic lessons, nurturing environments, and foundational learning.

Transfers

A transfer request is for those who would like their child(ren) to attend a school other than their school of residence. This includes incoming siblings of current students.

Before and Afterschool Programs

Extended Student Services

The Extended Student Services (ESS) Program extends Poway Unified School District's educational program into the hours before and after school, and during school vacations, for elementary school aged children.

After School Education & Safety

After School Education & Safety (ASES) is an extension of the school day and offers literacy and academic enrichment components.
