Poway Adult School

Teacher Biographies

Teacher: Jeannine Nordstrom
Classes: Watercolor

Jeannine NordstromJeannine brings her love of watercolor, 20+ years of teaching experience, her playful and supportive teaching style, and her commitment to developing her students’ skills and confidence into every class she teaches.  Like many adult learners, she too had a busy career and had put her own creativity and artistic skills on hold until “later”.  In 2004, she took a trip to France which combined silk painting every day with sight-seeing, meeting people in the French countryside and awakening the creative spirit.  Falling in love again with the flow of paint and the excitement and pleasure of creation, she started to paint in watercolor.  Jeannine now combines her love of watercolor, her teaching, and her understanding of adult learners to create a classroom experience that is informative and productive, but also fun, playful, supportive and relaxing.
