Character Counts! & Red Ribbon Week
A resolution will be presented at the October Board of Education Meeting as part of the District’s participation in Character Counts! and Red Ribbon Week for Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Prevention. The national red ribbon week theme for this year is Life is a Movie, Film Drug Free. Red ribbons will be distributed to all elementary school sites for students to wear in response to their pledge to pursue a healthy and responsible lifestyle. At our secondary level, Student Support Services Specialists facilitate Ribbon Week activities throughout the month of October. Please visit the Red Ribbon website for additional resources.
