Use this portal to apply and pay for your student's annual or semester bus pass. You will need your PUSD Parent MyPlan Username to log in. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee transportation until eligibility and bus stop availability are confirmed by staff.
Families meeting specific low-income or CalFresh requirements may qualify for free bus transportation. This link will direct you to the Informed K12 digital form where you can submit your application packet for review.
Free transportation is available for students identified as Youth in Transition (YIT), Foster Children, or English Language Learners. Use this secure digital form to submit the required application packet to the PUSD Transportation Department.
The number of general education home-to-school routes may change each year based on driver availability and demand.
The cost of an annual bus pass for general education routes is $950 per year.
Poway USD continues to actively recruit bus drivers and provides paid training to meet transportation needs, while prioritizing legal requirements and student safety.

Students who are not eligible may apply for a bus pass by exception for an existing stop at their school. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by PUSD Transportation Administration and are subject to space and availability.
Approval and stop assignment may be delayed to allow eligible students to be seated first.
