2-1-1 SAN DIEGO 

This hotline/website connects people with community and disaster services through a free, 24/7 stigma free phone service and searchable online database. 2-1-1 serves the entire population of San Diego County as the only free, confidential, dialing code service in San Diego. The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning youth. (Text: 678-678)

 

Crisis Text Line provides free, 24/7, high quality text-based mental health support and crisis intervention by empowering a community of trained volunteers to support people in their moments of need. Text HOME to 741741 to connect with a volunteer Crisis Counselor.

 

The 988 Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the United States.

 

LASSD provides low-income clients with free civil legal assistance, including legal advice and counsel, effective referrals, and legal representation. Their services range from a variety of assistance with supports such as health, housing, support for families, and free clinics.

 

The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and our North County Food Bank chapter provide nutritious food to people in need, advocate for the hungry, and educate the public about hunger-related issues.

 

San Diego Rescue Mission has been providing meals, shelter, clothing, education and job-skills training for men, women and single parents with children experiencing homelessness.
