  •   Continuing Student Registration

If you are a NEW student to Poway Unified, please click here  to access the New Student Enrollment webpage. If you need to identify and locate the school your student is to attend, please go to the Address Lookup Tool.  Please follow the step-by-step instructions and process as directed.

PUSD 2020-2021 Continuing Student Registration is Open!

The online Continuing Student Registration has been re-opened for families who have not yet completed a digital packet for their student.

We must receive a completed digital packet for all returning students. This will allow for proper placement of your student for the 2020-2021 school year. This annual digital process will allow a family to complete one single “family” packet instead of completing one packet per student. Packets can be completed using any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection.

    DIRECTIONS FOR REGISTRATION PROCESS

Packets are completed digitally using any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection. Please keep in mind there are two pages to review beyond the point where you can print required documents. A packet is considered finalized after reviewing those last two pages.

    1. Login and complete the digital registration packet online at the ParentVue portal: https://sis.powayusd.com/Packet
    2. Print and sign the required forms located at the conclusion of the process. At this time, the State of California does not allow guardian/parents to electronically sign certain documents.
    3. Once parents have completed the online registration, documents must be printed, signed and returned to their school's Attendance Office. Please wait to turn in your signed documents until school resumes. MEDICATION FORMS WILL NOT BE COLLECTED UNTIL SCHOOL BEGINS IN AUGUST FOR THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR.

  •   AHS Model Continuation School

Abraxas High School Named ‘Model Continuation School’ by California State Superintendent
We are thrilled to share that Abraxas High School was named a “Model Continuation School” by State Superintendent Tony Thurmond! Only 43 schools in California made the list this year, and we are exceptionally proud of the positive culture and conditions Abraxas continues to create for our students. Please join us in extending a BIG congratulations to the Abraxas team on this honor!

Attached is the press release with more information about the Recognition Program, and how Abraxas cultivates a supportive learning environment through programs like the Community Garden.

  •   STANDUP ACT

The US House of Representatives passed the STANDUP Act which provides students and schools with evidence-based suicide prevention and awareness training.  During the discussion, Congressman Peters gave a special shout out to the Bernardo Heights Middle School Bobcats as this was a main topic of discussion during his campus visit organized by Sandy Hook Promise last November.
