Welcome to the Shoal Creek PTA website

PTA
Shoal Creek Elementary PTA supports and enhances our school and our community. The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) sponsors numerous activities and events throughout the year including Family Nights, assemblies, and fundraisers. For further information contact the PTA President.

The Shoal Creek PTA is a member of a national organization of Parent Teacher Associations who join together: To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and to local, state, and national legislatures, To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children, and To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation. Our PTA assists our students through working with Shoal Creek staff to develop yearly programs and support those programs through fundraising activities. The PTA also supports classroom teachers, organizes volunteers, supports reading through book fairs, and supports fine arts, assemblies, and physical education. The PTA also works with the District PTA on legislative issues and district-wide programs to support educational opportunities for all our children.

PTA activity is governed by national and local guidelines that limit the type of fundraising, protect against liability, and restrict the carrying over of funds from year to year. We are extremely grateful for the thousands of volunteer hours dedicated by our parents to keep our PTA going. All families are invited to join the PTA at the start of school. If you have any questions or would like to help out please contact PTA President Ayda Bisotouni at ayda619@gmail.com
