  •   PUSD 2021-2022 Continuing Student Registration now Open!

     DEADLINE IS APRIL 30TH!

Online Continuing Student Registration will be open from April 1 - April 30, 2021.  We must receive a completed digital packet for all returning students. This will allow for proper placement of your student for the 2021-2022 school year. This annual digital process will allow a family to complete one single “family” packet instead of completing one packet per student. Packets can be completed using any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection. Currently Shoal Creek is at 63% return.

Please ensure you can log into https://sis.powayusd.com. If you do not know your username and/or password, you can visit https://password.powayusd.com to retrieve your login credentials.

New for the 2021-2022 registration, families will be requested to select the Learning Platform desired for each of their students. There will be five different options for PUSD families to choose from. The options include On-Campus (TK-12), Virtual Connect Academy (K-8), Poway Virtual Courses (9-12) and Poway Home Education (6-12). Information on these different options can be found here.

Please email me at matkins@powayusd.com  as soon as possible if you do not plan to return to PUSD for the 2021-2022 school year. Thank you for your attention to this important process.

  •   Make an Impact Campaign

As our current school year draws to a close, the Shoal Creek Educational Foundation is looking ahead to the 2021-2022 school year. Mirroring the difficulties our school and families have faced due to Covid restrictions, the Shoal Creek Educational Foundation has struggled to raise desperately needed funds to support our key programs. Parents' Night Out, which raises close to $30,000 annually has been impacted two years in a row along with many of our other fundraising events. As a result, we are unable to fully fund music and impact teachers for the next school year without your help.

As we close out this school year, we are asking families to Make an Impact for the students of Shoal Creek. Your gift will allow us to continue our support of important programs next year. There are a number of sponsorship levels and every donor, no matter the amount given, will receive recognition for the remainder of this school year on campus with a customized otter head printed with name or names of choice.

A brochure with information about sponsorship tiers, the programs these funds support, and ways to donate will be sent home this week and can be found at https://www.weloveshoalcreek.com/impact/. Thank you for making an impact!
