PUSD Hosts Inaugural Unified Champion School Event

PUSD hosts inaugural Unified Champion School event welcoming Poway High, El Cajon Valley High, Grossmont High, and Valhalla High to a soccer championship. Players from the San Diego Wave and San Diego Sockers helped kick-off the tournament-style event.

Poway Unified School District was awarded the 2024 Outstanding Contribution to Inclusive Education and Disability Advocacy Award. The Thompson Policy Institute on Disability at Chapman University presented PUSD with this award recognizing the district's unwavering commitment to increasing access for students with disabilities. Prior distinguished award recipients include State Senator Dave Cortese, Supporting Inclusive Practices, and Joe Xavier, Director of the Department of Rehabilitation.
