MCHS Aquatics

Welcome to the home of Mt Carmel High School Aquatics! 

The Mt. Carmel High School Aquatics Facililty includes two (2) pools:  a four (4) lane swimming instruction pool and a ten (10) lane lap swimming  25-yard pool with diving well.  The facility offers two (2) one-meter diving boards and full bathrooms.

The facility has hosted the Palomar League Swimming & Diving Championships, CIF Swimming & Diving Championships and played host to a variety of water polo tournaments and CIF Championship games.

The pools are maintained between 80 and 84 degrees, providing for comfortable swimming for various aquatic activities.  The instructional pool is 3.5 deep.  The competition pool shallow end is 3.5 feet deep and the deep end is 13 feet in depth.  Amenities include bathrooms, hot showers, changing stalls, kick-boards, pull bouys and pool lift.

Mt. Carmel High School offers a comprehensive aquatic athletic program including boys water polo during the fall, girls water polo in the winter and boys/girls swimming and diving in the spring.  These programs operate under the CIF guidelines and are governed by each school's athletic department.  For specific information, please visit the high school's athletic section on the school's website.

PUSD Summer Swim Lesson Information 

Swim Lessons will only be offered at the Rancho Bernardo High School Pool for Summer 2025.

The PUSD uses an online registration process for your convenience!  There will be a 5.25% service fee added to the cost of swim lessons for this online registration service.

Registration Dates: On-line Registration will open at 7:00am Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

Also, please note that class sizes are limited, so sign-up early!

From 15 Freeway South.
  

• Take exit 19 onto CA-56 West , Ted Williams Pkwy.
•  Take exit 8 onto Rancho Penasquitos Blvd. 
•  Turn Left onto Carmel Mountain Road.
•  The school will be on your Right.  
•  The pool is located in the far right corner of the parking lot, back by the tennis courts.
