PUSD District Adopted Curriculum 

PUSD adopted curriculum and assessments for all subject areas (Math, Science, ELA, Social Studies)

Some Examples Include:

  • Elementary: Benchmark, Math Expressions, Mystery Science and TCI
  • Middle School: CMP3 & CPM (Secondary Math), TCI (6 & 7th Science), CK-12 (8th Science), Language of Lit grades 6-8, Ancient Civilizations (6th grade), America History of Our Nation (8th grade), Medieval and Early Modern Times (7th grade)

Computer science & digital arts curriculum:

  • Coding & computational thinking
  • Digital photography, video production, graphic design
  • Digital Citizenship integrated into all curriculum

Social-emotional learning and community building

Program Structure

Virtual learning environment, instruction to be delivered:

  • Live online, synchronous via Zoom (daily)
  • Asynchronous via Canvas & integrated tools (daily)
  • Offline learning activities (daily)
  • In-person opportunities on a school campus (weekly), may include:
    • Assessments
    • Hands-on experiences and labs 
    • Tutorial/office hours 
    • Electives
