The Counseling Department uses an Internet-based program called Family Connection (also known as Naviance) as a means of communication and planning with students and parents. Some of the features of Family Connection include:

• Student and parent access to important student data, such as GPA, counselor name, etc.
• Planning for future beyond high school
• Access to college information from past graduates, such as acceptance and attendance rates
• "Scattergrams" that compare academic history of Del Norte HS graduates
• Electronic letters of recommendation for seniors applying to college
• Access to scholarships, enrichment opportunities and careers
• College visitation schedule on our campus with information on how to attend
• Monthly electronic newsletters on counseling-related activities and information

Provides access to student's class information such as grades, classroom assignments and expectations as well as other resources provided by the teacher.
