Student Council

Student Council Coordinator: Matthew Aneshansley

The Student Council is comprised of elected officers and classroom representatives. They plan and organize student events such as dress-up days, special events, and community projects.

Mission Statement:

The purpose of the Sunset Hills Elementary student council is to increase community awareness in our children. We want students to be exposed to the needs of others in the area, to give of themselves, and to have fun! We are operating a Student Store to raise money for classroom library books and other extra supplies. ALL profits from the store go directly to the classrooms. We will also organize Spirit Days and lead assemblies. We also work closely with the PTA and attend their monthly meetings. Environmental projects this year will include School Clean Up Days. Look for Spirit Days to come.
