    ATTENDANCE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES  Absence Hotline: 858-487-1180 x 4232   An important key to school success is making sure your child comes to school on time, each and every day.  School begins at 8:55 a.m. Students should line up in their class lines when the line-up bell rings at 8:50 a.m. so they can be in class, in their seat, ready to learn when school officially begins. If your child arrives to school late, he/she is required to come to the office for a late slip before going to class.


  •   GATE Testing Request Window - Sept 10 to Nov 30

    2018-2019 GATE Testing Information Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) involves services for students whose cognitive needs may require modified classroom curriculum and instruction to accommodate their learning differences and ensure their achievement. Parents may request GATE testing for students in grades 2-7.

    The City of Poway launched a dedicated, 24-hour hotline for students, parents, teachers and community members to report potential threats to schools in Poway. Messages left on the toll-free hotline 844-PUSD-TIP (844-787-3847) will be monitored around the clock by the Poway Sheriff’s Station and San Diego Police Department.
