December 7th

Need a few hours to shop before the holidays?  The MEF has a great option for childcare…Kid’s Day Out at Impact Martial Arts!!

This is a perfect time for parents to get some Holiday shopping done, while the kids have a blast and learn some self-defense strategies.

When: Saturday, December 16th, 12:00-4:00pm (Pizza will be served.)

Where: impact Martial Arts Studio, 13454 Poway Rd

Price: $20 per student or 2 siblings for $30 (school–age children only)

The kids will come home with a cool surprise!

All the money raised goes back to the MEF to fund supplies and Learning experiences at Midland Elementary!

Join Earth Made Snow Cones on Friday December 15th after school for a cool, sweet treat!  A portion of the proceeds will go back to the MEF to help fund programs at Midland.
 
The MEF is already busy planning the next Science Night.  The event will be held on Thursday January 25th and activities will be focused on science curriculum of TK/K-2nd.  The MEF is in need of volunteers for this event.  If you would like to help with planning and/or the night of the event, please e-mail midef.steam@gmail.com.
 
The MEF Birthday banner is still available for the week of December 18th.  Sign up here  http://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080b45aea823a4fb6-birthday.  The sign up has also been updated with weeks for 2018 birthdays.  So, sign up for your student’s banner before the week gets filled!
Square 1 orders have been delivered to all classrooms.  Thank you to all that contributed to this MEF fundraiser!

About the Foundation
The Foundation is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which raises funds to support the educational goals at Midland Elementary.  The board is made up of parent volunteers who work closely with faculty, staff, and the Midland parent community.

Our Mission
The Foundation is dedicated to the Children at Midland Elementary School. The Foundation is committed to the children’s welfare through providing additional financial assistance, improved educational opportunities, increased parent and teacher support and community investment and participation.
