Welcome back to a new school year!

Dear Midland Families,
I hope you have enjoyed an amazing summer filled with fun activities, relaxation, and rest--We are excited and filled with anticipation to welcome our rattlers back to school!

We have planned many great offerings at our school this year, with opportunities that will propel our students through a future of innovation such as First Lego League, Coding to the Future, blended learning in our Voyager classrooms, and experiences that make our school unique in our community, such as the Midland Running Club, Midland Choir and Arts Attack!

This is a great time for parents to become involved in our school community, whether that means supporting our PTA in planning fun events for our students, or helping our Midland Educational Foundation find sponsors to help fund our exciting programs at our school.

As a No Excuses University, we are proud to have a strong culture where students are our central focus as we work tirelessly to help all our children grow and learn.  While I know firsthand how hard our staff works to make this happen, I also want to acknowledge our community and families for helping us make Midland a truly special place to learn.

I look forward to an amazing start of a new school year and on behalf of Midland Elementary, I THANK YOU for sharing your children with us!

With GREAT rattler pride we look forward to an AMAZING school year!

Sidia Martinez,
Principal, NEU Midland
