  •   SCHOOL CLOSURE - MARCH 16 THROUGH APRIL 3

    VISIT PUSD CORONAVIRUS UPDATES PAGE
PUSD schools will be closed for the next three weeks, from Monday, March 16 through Friday, April 3, unless conditions call for an extension. NOTE: Spring Break will remain at its regularly scheduled time of April 13-17, 2020. During the emergency closure, the District Office will be operating to ensure continuity of essential District functions, but will be closed to the public.  Click on the announcement for the full message.

  •   Continuing Student Registration April 1-April 30, 2020.

Parents and Guardians will receive email notification once the website is open. We must receive a completed digital packet for all returning students. This will allow for proper placement of your student for the 2020-2021 school year. This annual digital process will allow a family to complete one single “family” packet instead of completing one packet per student. Packets can be completed using any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection. If you do not have access to any computing device or internet connection, your student’s school will provide access to complete the packet. READ MORE...

  •   February is Black History Month

February is Black History Month and the staff and students at Garden Road Elementary School look forward to celebrating and highlighting the contributions of African Americans in US history.  During morning announcements, quotes and accomplishments will be shared from African Americans who have made special contributions to American society. Classrooms and our librarian will be reading stories about African Americans who have made a difference in our country's history.

  •   Intradistrict Transfer Timeline

If you live in the Poway Unified School District boundaries and are interested in requesting a transfer to a school that is not your school of residence, you must submit a request during the transfer window of February 1 – March 31, 2020. No transfer requests will be accepted outside of this window, no exceptions. Please click through for more information and frequently asked questions on transfer requests, as well as continuing student registration and new student enrollment timelines.
