An informational letter with a new user account name and password was sent to all parents of secondary students (grades 6-12). If you did not receive this letter, have misplaced it, or if you are a parent of a new student enrolled after start of school, please visit the Account Self Service website to retrieve their username or select a new password.

Student accounts are made automatically with student ID numbers for the username and a default password. The username and password you use for logging in at school is the same for Canvas and MyPLAN Portal.

Go to Account Self-Service and follow the instructions.

Students can ask any of their classroom teachers for this information OR parents can access the information from the MyPLAN Portal.

This account enables parents to view all their children's information under one login through Canvas or MyPLAN Portal.

Lightspeed Alert is a 24/7 monitoring tool that detects potential safety risks by monitoring student activity for signs of cyberbullying, violence, and other concerning behaviors. Monitoring applies to both district-managed student devices, such as Chromebooks, and personal devices (when personal devices are logged in to and using district-managed accounts for students). Monitoring applies to the list below:

• Internet browser activity (only monitored on district-managed student devices) - text, images, and search history
• Activity within district-managed accounts for students:
  • Microsoft 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Google Workspace for Education (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive)
  • Canvas (discussions, assignment submissions, shared files)

Lightspeed Alert uses a combination of AI and trained human specialists to review activity in real time. When concerning behavior is detected, detailed and actionable alerts are sent directly to school site administrators and district safety personnel.
