Instructions for Schools, PTAs/Foundations, School-Sponsored Events and Fundraisers

Flyer Distribution Procedures

Schools, PTAs/Foundations, and school-sponsored groups may share information with families using Peachjar e-flyers. Flyers are uploaded through your school's Peachjar account and emailed to families at no cost.


How to Upload a Flyer

  • Your school's Peachjar Site Administrator manages flyer uploads.
  • You may:
    • Send your flyer to the Site Administrator to upload, or
    • Request uploading privileges from the Site Administrator.
  • If uploading privileges are granted, you will receive an auto-generated email with your username and password.

Steps to upload:

  1. Review the PUSD Flyer Approval Policies below.
  2. Visit www.peachjar.com and log in.
  3. Upload your flyer.
    • You will go through a “checkout” process, but there is no charge for schools and parent clubs.
  4. Approved flyers are typically emailed in the next distribution cycle, usually the following day.

Sending Flyers to Other Schools

Schools and their PTAs/Foundations may share flyers with other PUSD schools if the event is open to the entire community.

  • Submit the e-flyer to PUSD with a list of schools that should receive it.
  • Due to the Peachjar system, the flyer may appear to come from your school, but it is sent through the district Peachjar account.
  • The district sends flyers once per week, on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
    • Please submit flyers before this deadline.

Flyer Requirements

All flyers must:

  • Support the district's educational mission, directly benefit students or the school, or be of value to families
  • Be in PDF format
  • Use font size 12 or larger
  • Include the name and contact information of the sponsoring group
  • Be submitted in English
    • Valley Elementary: Spanish must also be included in the same document
    • Provide an accurate translation (Google Translate is not sufficient)
  • Follow Board Policy and Procedures BP 1325 and AR 1325

Flyers Must NOT Include Content That:

  • Is lewd, obscene, libelous, or slanderous
  • Encourages unlawful acts, rule violations, or school disruption
  • Promotes political candidates, parties, interests, or ballot measures (unless all sides are equally represented as allowed by policy)
  • Takes a position on controversial issues
  • Discriminates against or attacks any group
  • Promotes illegal or inappropriate products or services
  • Solicits funds or services, unless allowed under Board policy
