eBike Safety

E-Bike Safety Requirements for Secondary Students
To support student safety and respond to community feedback, PUSD has partnered with local law enforcement to introduce:
- A required safety training video
- An e-bike permit process at all secondary school sites
Students who ride e-bikes to school must complete these requirements.
Parents/guardians must register the e-bike’s make, model, and VIN with the school to receive a parking sticker.

E-Bikes at Elementary Schools
To protect younger students, e-bikes are not allowed on any elementary school campus.
This guideline aligns with City of Poway regulations (effective late 2025), which do not allow children under age 12 to operate e-bikes.
