What is Canvas?

Canvas is the Learning Management System (LMS) for PUSD. It is a tool for teachers, students, and families to access and interact with the digital components of their courses. Canvas courses may include teacher-created content, curriculum, assignments, grades, and calendars. Students and families can also communicate directly with teachers through the inbox. Family account(s) are linked to student account(s) and are enrolled as observers in student courses. Family members cannot submit work on behalf of the student(s) they observe but can see student grades, assignments and events, and course interactions.

*PUSD Parents will access Canvas through MyPLAN and do not need a pairing code.
