SAN DIEGO, CA – Poway Unified School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Chamille Dixon as Principal of Oak Valley Middle School. Bringing more than 10 years of experience in education, she most recently served as Assistant Principal at Rancho Bernardo High School in Poway Unified. Chamille Dixon has served in a range of instructional and administrative roles, including teacher, dean of students, instructional specialist, and assistant principal in educational institutions in Los Angeles and San Diego. Dixon holds a Master of Arts in School Leadership from California State University Dominguez Hills and a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from California State University Long Beach. An educational leader grounded in transformative leadership, Dixon values collaboration, relationship-building, distributive leadership, and inclusive decision-making. She is passionate about educational reform, with equity and student agency at the forefront of her work. |
