SAN DIEGO, CA - Important enrollment and registration dates for the 2026–27 school year are now available, helping families prepare early for a smooth start next fall.
Key Dates for the 2026–27 School Year
February 1, 2026 — Intradistrict Transfer Window Opens (8:00 AM)
PUSD will begin accepting transfer requests from families who reside within district boundaries and would like their student to attend a different PUSD school. This includes incoming siblings of current students as well as students not yet enrolled.
February 2, 2026 — New Student Enrollment Begins
Enrollment opens for all new students across all grade levels, including Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten (TK), and Kindergarten. Families new to PUSD can begin the process online at www.powayusd.com.
March 2–31, 2026 — Continuing Student Registration
Online registration for currently enrolled students returning for the 2026–27 school year will take place throughout March. Families will receive additional information and instructions directly from their school sites.
