PTSA scholarships Deadline: APRIL 16

Three $750.00 scholarships will be awarded. Any Westview senior with plans to attend a 4-year college in the fall of 2010 is eligible. For applications, see Kathy Bloomfield in the Wolverine Center. Application must be completed and submitted by the end of school on Friday, April 16.

Student-Staff Recognition Night Deadline: MARCH 19

It is time once again to nominate outstanding Wolverines! Students nominate staff and staff nominate students. This is a wonderful opportunity to honor outstanding students and faculty/staff who contribute to life on campus in a positive way, through excellent attitude, citizenship, participation, and selflessness. Mock Testing

Ballot Initiative - Californians for improved school funding

The California State PTA has endorsed the Californians for Improved School Funding's ballot initiative, the "Local Control of Local Classrooms Funding Act." If qualified for the November 2010 ballot and approved by voters, the proposed Act would lower the threshold for passage of educational parcel taxes from the current two-thirds requirement to 55 percent, provided certain requirements are met.
