Course Name Changes
We are currently in the process of updating some course names to better reflect the content of the courses. The course names that will be changing are:
- Intro to Computers >>>> Computer Information Systems
This course, although appropriate for even the beginning computer user, moves the student far beyond what would be considered introductory skills. Students are far more prepared for life in school and life beyond school after taking this course. The new name reflects this rigorous content much more than the "Intro" title might have suggested. Although Computer Applications was an appropriate title, Computer Information Systems Advanced is much more appropriate as far as indicating the level students attain by the end of the course. To see more about the course content, click here.
DECA Team Winners
The DECA team recently attended a regional competition and a number of students took High Honors awards for their performance in a variety of industry categories. Check out the DECA Page to find out more and see a photo album of the contenders and participants. Congratulations to the whole team!
