Please feel free to share with us what you believe would be the best learning environment for your child. The form is attached and also available on our website or front office. If you are interested in providing input, please print and complete the form. (Please complete one form per child.) This form must be turned in to the school office no later than 3:30 PM on MONDAY, MAY 18TH . Forms will not be accepted after this date.

FAMILY DINNER NIGHT ON MAY 20TH!
Please join us for our last family dinner night of the year - May 20th at Flippin Pizza from 5pm-9pm. You can take your pizza to go or dine in with friends. Flippin Pizza is located at 16615 Dove Canyon Road ( 858)-674-9977 . We hope to see you there!
COLLEGE FIELD DAY
College Field Day will be May 21st, from 9 to 11:30. Grizzlies will enjoy Opening Ceremonies, a pledge from Grizzopolis, and then head to the field for music, fun and games. We will finish out the races with Otter Pops for all! Join us as we celebrate the end of a great school year! Help us make this day fantastic for our Grizzlies by volunteering to run one of the simple games for your class. CONTINUING STUDENT REGISTRATION IS THIS WEEK!
Registration for all current TK- 4th grade students who will be attending WGES for the 2015-16 school year is fast approaching. The process will only require a short stop into the school office.
FOLLOW THESE EASY STEPS:
Go to http://www.powayusd.com/registration/
Print and complete the 2015-16 Signature Verification Form (Note: 4th & 5th grade students must also sign this form)
4th Graders will also need a Student Health Information form completed.
Return the completed form(s) to the office on the date assigned based on your last name (see below). Once at school, you will be asked to review, make any changes, and sign the Student Profile form. This form is kept in the office. If you have moved, please bring two current proofs of your new residency.

Please note that we will not be able to place your student in a classroom for next year unless you complete this continuing registration process.
UPCOMING HOLIDAY REMINDER
JUST A REMINDER- Monday, May 25th, is a holiday as we will be celebrating Memorial Day.
BAND CONCERT COMING MAY 27TH
Reminder for parents of 5th grade band and orchestra students: You are invited to the spring music concert on Wednesday, May 27TH, at 6:30pm in the Willow Grove multi-purpose room. Strings students' arrival time is 5:30 p.m. and band students' arrival time is 6:00 p.m. Doors for audience seating will open 5 minutes prior to concert time. Please have your child dress nicely for the evening concert. In addition, students will perform an assembly for the school the same morning. Our final music class will be May 28th.
ATTENTION FIFTH GRADE PARENTS!!
Mark your calendars for The Fifth Grade Promotion that will be on Tuesday, June 9th, at 10 a.m. Parking will be limited so be sure to plan ahead. Please note: Unfortunately balloons set off our fire alarm so no balloons of any kind will be allowed on campus. We don't want anything disrupting this special event. Any balloons brought on campus will need to go back to your car. Thanks for your understanding.
