The Tierra Bonita Educational Foundation is looking for sponsors for our annual jog-a-thon, the Race for Cyberspace. If you would like to be a sponsor or
you know a business that might be interested, please contact Christy Winters at tbef@tbef.org. We're also still looking
for donations of toys for the prize mall. TBEF is a 501(c)(3) corporation, so your donations are tax deductible.
Cheetah Challenge
We're implementing a great opportunity that was created by one of our very own TBES student, Ashley B., called the Cheetah Reading Challenge.
The challenge is to have Tierra Bonita students read one million pages by the end of the year. If each student reads 12 pages a day, we can
make our goal. A reading challenge log will be coming home and is also available online.
Simply fill out the title of the books read, number of pages, parent signature and turn it in to the office or classroom teacher.
Ashley and her team of accountants will add up the pages throughout the year. A ‘Read-O-Meter’ will highlight our progress at each Friday Flag.
“Let’s Get Reading!”
