- H1N1 Flu
Vaccination Clinics: Poway
Unified School District, in
partnership with San Diego County
Health and Human Services,
Palomar/Pomerado Hospital, and the
City of Poway, is planning to offer
nine school site H1N1 Flu
Vaccination Clinics in mid-November
and early December. P.U.S.D. is
planning to offer clinics at several
schools throughout the district --
after school, in the early evenings,
and some on Saturdays. Due
to a limited amount of vaccine,
P.U.S.D. will only offer
vaccinations to students and their
household family members ages 6
months to 18 years of age, and
pregnant women. Those who
are not eligible for vaccination at
these clinics are encouraged to seek
vaccination from their personal
health care provider or through the
San Diego County Public Health
Department clinics.
Parents will be contacted directly
with complete details through voice
and email messages, on the District
website and, through flyers sent
home with students. Any questions,
call the P.U.S.D. Flu Hotline at
(858) 676-6960 between 9-1pm Monday
– Friday.
