Attendance
24 Hour Hotline: 748-7016
If your student
is absent:
·
Please call hotline before 11:00 a.m. on the day of the absence.
·
You must call EACH day your
student is absent.
·
If we do not receive a call within
24 hours, your student will be considered truant.
·
If you choose to excuse after the 24 hour period, records will be adjusted but the
original consequence will remain in effect.
If your student
arrives late:
·
If tardy 0 – 29 minutes: Please report to class (NO need to check in with
attendance) **Students
who have notes to excuse tardy should check in first with Attendance before
proceeding to class if you would like tardy excused.
·
If tardy 30 minutes – end of
the school day: Please check in with the Attendance office to receive a readmit.
This will need to be presented to your teacher.
·
Students who do NOT check in and
obtain a readmit may face disciplinary action.
·
Students will only be allowed 5 tardies
per semester for any individual class, regardless if they are excused or not excused.
Students who repeatedly arrive late interrupt the learning of other students
and the classroom environment. When tardiness becomes a disruption, teachers
will contact parents to discuss appropriate action.
If your student
needs to leave early:

Call 24 hours in advance to
request an off-campus pass 748-0245

Students will pick up their pass
from Attendance before school, at break or at lunch.
·
Students who become ill after
arriving to school must report to the Health Office. Parents will be contacted
to pick up student.
·
Remember to check back into
Attendance with your pass if returning the same day.
·
Student leaving without a pass
from the Attendance or Health office are considered truant.
·
Please note: During Finals, we
cannot interrupt class and no off-campus passes will be issued. Students are
expected to remain in class for the entire period.

sure to call in any absence within 24 hours.
