Greetings Explorer Families,

Happy last week of school! On behalf of our school, I would like to thank our incredible parent community and students for another outstanding year at Del Sur. Our students continue to amaze us with their level of commitment and academic passion. I wish all of you a wonderful summer break. Additionally, I wish all of our 5th grade students much success in middle school.

On behalf of our PTA, we would like to thank them for sponsoring such a great Field Day with Master Sports. This was our best ever Field Day event. Also, thanks to everyone who supported our Textile Drive on Saturday.
I am sure I will see many of you around campus attending various end-of-the-year events, and of course 5th grade promotion Wednesday morning.

One more note, our own Mrs. Nowak is seeking support for a grant that she has written with the Farmer’s Insurance Corporation’s Thank America’s Teachers program. She is hoping to ascertain some materials for our teachers to support our work in the area of STEAM. Please go online to vote for this project at thankamericasteachers.com and follow three steps. One must vote through Facebook. One can search for Mrs. Nowak’s proposal through her last name. Voting is open through the entire month of June and votes can be cast every day.
