Incoming 6th Graders - Selecting your Electives

Mustangs, it's time to pick your electives for next year?

1. PLAN
  • Check out the elective videos on the MBMS Electives page to learn more about your options.
  • Review the 6th Grade Course Request Form (see attached file below).
  • Once you have an idea about what you might like to take as an elective, talk to your parents/guardians to make your final decision about your top 4 choices (1st choice & 2nd choice and 2 alternates).
2. REQUEST YOUR ELECTIVES ONLINE
  • Using StudentVUE in Synergy, request your elective for next year. You will be able to select your FIRST choice and then two alternatives (your second and third choices).
  • You will need to know the course numbers which is the 6-digit number listed next to the course name on the CRF. *Remember, your first choice is not guaranteed.

3. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. Can we select Electives before finishing our PUSD Continuing Registration?
    • Yes! We strongly encourage you to finish our PUSD Continuing Registration before March 31st. 
  2. Should our Student use only Chromebook to choose Electives?
  3. Where can I find Course Request in Synergy?
    • On the Synergy page. The Course Request is above the Grade book.
  4. We are requesting an Interdistrict Transfer to Meadowbrook, how do we select our Electives?
    • Once you receive confirmation your Interdistrict Transfer to Meadowbrook is approved, our Meadowbrook staff will reach out to you for your students Elective choices.
