In this first-ever matchup between the Super Bowl champs, fans are anticipating an exciting game that promises to be as much a showdown of coaching prowess as it is a display of high school football athleticism. The Rancho Bernardo Broncos will take on the Del Norte Nighthawks at 7pm at Del Norte High School Stadium, located at 16601 Nighthawk Lane, San Diego, CA 92127.

About Coach Nick Barnett
Nick Barnett played 11 years in the NFL, was an All-Pro selection in 2007, and has a ring from Super Bowl XLV, when his Green Bay Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers. The former linebacker is in his first year as head football coach at Del Norte High School, following a stint as the linebacker coach at La Costa Canyon High School last season. The Nighthawks are currently 4 – 1 overall in non league play.
About Coach Eric Weddle
Weddle is a six-time All-Pro who played nine seasons with the Chargers and three with the Baltimore Ravens, then came out of retirement to help the Los Angeles Rams win Super Bowl XLI. The former defensive back first joined the Broncos last season under former head coach Tristan McCoy, and took over as head coach for the 2023 season. The Broncos are currently 3-2 overall in non league play.
