MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR SPELLING F-U-N
JANUARY 26

Two weeks to go until the Spell-a-thon, our second largest fundraiser of the year! In addition to reinforcing grade-level spelling words, the Spell-a-thon provides students with an opportunity to earn money for the school. This money will help support educational and enrichment programs focused on art, music, science, and technology.
Our goal for the event is for each student to collect at least $50 in pledges, which would mean over $30,000 for our school!!! Pledge sheets came home before the break and should be returned to your child’s teacher by January 26.

The top spellers, top pledge earners, and all those who collect pledges will be awarded prizes!

Also, we’re looking for parents to help correct tests and distribute prizes on January 26. If you can join us, even for just an hour, please sign up online and meet in the Bishop Center between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.

GOT PICTURES FOR YEARBOOK 2017-2018?
We accept pictures of class parties and special events, field trips, first day of school, the Halloween parade, or any school photos of your child with her/his friends. Create an account or login into the account you created last year in www.pictavocommunity.com. School ID is 72966. You can also download the ‘Pictavo Community’ app in your smart phone and upload them to be considered for use in the yearbook.

Yearbook pre-sales will begin on Feb 2018 until March 2018. $30/copy.

ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, GO!
Trekkers is our recess running program that promotes healthy living through exercise. Students will receive special prizes when they complete 25, 50, 75, and 100 miles.
To support this program for first through fifth grade students, we need parent volunteers during morning recess on Tuesday and Thursday from 10-11am. Please click here to volunteer. All volunteers will need to have Megan's Law clearance, a signed Volunteer Code of Conduct on file, and the required TB risk assessment completed.
