Announcements

  •   Black History Month

Sundance will celebrate Black History Month with special book displays and readings in the library and through morning announcements made by our principal.  We will also be having discussions in classrooms and will be highlighting the incredible contributions made to our society by African Americans.   There is a lot to learn about the people and events that have shaped our country!

  •   TK Request (5 between June 1 - Sept. 1)

Parents of children with a fifth birthday between June 1st and September 1st, 2019who wish to enroll their child into a TK class, rather than a Kindergarten class, MUST place their child’s name on a District Interest Wait List. Beginning March 1, 2019, at 8:00 AM, go to the District Website and select "TK Interest Wait List" to put your child's name on the list. District staff will notify parents on the Interest List starting in June, or later in the summer, of an opening in TK.  Due to increased numbers of students required to enroll in TK, please note space is very limited and will be determined on a first-come, first served basis.  It is critical for all parents to enroll their students in Kindergarten at their home schools when enrollment begins in May.

  •   Library OverDrive is here - eBooks for all grades at a fingertip!

Poway Unified School District is pleased to introduce a new, free reading service providing digital books through OverDrive.

  •   Typing Agent

Recognizing the great need for students to keyboard accurately and efficiently, we've enrolled all students in an excellent online keyboarding program, Typing Agent.  This program adapts to each student's needs as it moves them through proper posture and keyboarding practice.
