All About Me...

I grew up on the central coast of California in Morro Bay.  Athletics have always played a big part in my life.  I played softball and did gymnastics since I was four.  I joined volleyball and was a competitive cheerleader in high school.  After graduating from Sacramento State I worked in the field of Physical Therapy while simultaneously running the gymnastics program at the La Jolla YMCA.  This is where I decided I wanted to make coaching kids my career.  I went on to get my credential at National University and my Masters at Grand Canyon University and have been teaching for 17 years.

My favorite thing to do for fitness right now is Yoga.  I love the power, strength, and flexibility that comes from doing this.  But I love to ride my beach cruiser bike as much as I can.

In addition to teaching P.E. I am the year book advisor here at OVMS, so I get to practice my other passion of Photography.  I picked up a camera when my son was born almost 11 years ago, and haven’t put it down since.

Best Athletic Memory

Watching my son win the Pop Warner football playoffs.
