Packets with all required information will be sent home with your student on Wednesday, March 1st and due back with their class by the following week.
PAYMENT Information:
The cost for the 5-day session of Camp Cuyamaca is $430.00. Checks must include your student’s ID number in the memo line and be made payable to “MVMS”. Cash or Check are the only forms of payment available. The cost includes transportation, food, lodging, insurance and activities. We will begin collection of packets and payments on March 7th. Students will turn in packet and payments, as a class, directly to the finance office.

*If you feel like the cost of camp will present a financial hardship for your family, a limited number of partial camperships (financial assistance) may be available in extreme cases. Please contact school secretary, Michelle Rinehart at krrinehart@powayusd.com or assistant principal, Dennis Panganiban at dpanganiban@powayusd.com. ALL payments due by no later than March 15th.

Cuyamaca Outdoor School does require that Mesa Verde confirm that all students attending camp have tested negative for COVID-19 within 36 hours of departure. Please complete the google form that will be sent out to families the Friday before. Negative test result for COVID-19 must be uploaded by 6am on Monday 5/1. Any students who have not submitted results of their test by this date/time will be required to test at school prior to boarding.

The tradition of 6th Grade Camp continues this school year.
