MESA VERDE SCIENCE

Science is taught in all grade levels. Please visit your individual science teacher's website for complete information:
6th Grade Science
  • During your students 6th grade year in science, they will have an opportunity to learn from the science teacher that is part of the core team.
  • Students have been successful in the past using these supplies in 6th grade science 
    • 3 ring notebook - minimum 1.5 inch in width: This will be for both semesters
    • Simple calculator
    • Graph and lined paper
    • Colored pencils, No.2 pencil and pen
    • Spiral Notebook for all work done in class

7th Grade Science
  • The 7th grade science curriculum at Mesa Verde Middle School is divided into 2 semesters.
  • During your students 7th grade year in science, they will have an opportunity to learn from both of the members of our 7th grade team. One semester with Mr. Donnelly, while the other semester  with Mr. Woo.
  • Students have been successful in the past using these supplies in 7th grade science 
    • 3 ring notebook - minimum 1.5 inch in width: This will be for both semesters
    • Simple calculator
    • Graph and lined paper
    • Colored pencils, No.2 pencil and pen
    • Spiral Notebook for all work done in class

8th Grade Science
  • The 8th grade science curriculum at Mesa Verde Middle School is divided into 2 semesters. Also, because all 8th grade students are required to take this course, many of the Poway Unified Technology Standards are addressed through these classes as well.
  • Duringy our students 8th grade year in science, they will have an opportunity to learn from both of the members of our 8th grade team. One semester wil be  Mrs. Collingwood, while the other semester  with Mr. Bird.
  • Students have been successful in the past using these supplies in 8th grade science
