2023-2024 Elective Course Requests – Open March 1st!
Mustangs,
Are you ready to pick your elective for next year?
It’s as simple as 1, 2, 3!
Plan: You have between March 1 - March 17, 2023 to select your courses. Don’t wait! Make time to review the Course Request Form (CRF) planning guide to learn about what electives you can take next year.

Do your Research: Watch the elective videos on the MBMS Electives page to learn more about your options. Talk to your friends who have taken the course and ask your teachers questions about the classes. Once you have an idea about what you might like to take as an elective, talk to your parents/guardians to make your final decision about your top 3 choices (1st choice and 2 alternates).
Request your elective online: Using StudentVUE in Synergy, request your elective for next year. You will be able to select your FIRST choice and then two alternatives (your second and third choices). You will need to know the course numbers which is the 6-digit number listed next to the course name on the CRF. *Remember, your first choice is not guaranteed. If you need help logging into StudentVUE to request your course, here are some helpful links:

Frequently asked questions:
Can my parent/guardian pick my elective?
We strongly encourage students to discuss their elective options with their parents/guardians before making their choices. Courses can only be requested through StudentVue. Once students have selected their courses, parents can view the selections in ParentVue.
What if I change my mind and want to select a different course?
As long as a student hasn’t locked their selection, they can go back and change a course request as long as it is before the March 17, 2023 deadline.
Where can I find out more information about the different electives?
You can find a description of the course on the CRF form and links to videos on the MBMS website electives page.
