The purpose of the Council is to provide input and support of the Meadowbrook Single Plan for Student Achievement: "To increase achievement for all students through a comprehensive literacy effort." This is an important council which works to provide direction for the operation of various school programs.

Meetings are held once a month, 2:30-3:30 P.M., typically on Wednesdays. Representatives are elected to serve a two-year term.
