Principal's Message

August 2022
Greetings Mustang Family!

I have great pride and enthusiasm in being the Principal of Meadowbrook Middle School.  Our Community of Kindness values and fosters the wellbeing of all our students.  Our amazing staff ensures all students know they belong, are valued and have a voice.  Meadowbrook provides rigorous, positive and impactful educational experiences.  This is evident as we are both a California Distinguished School and a National Blue Ribbon School.

Our mission is that every student will master the knowledge and develop the skills and attitudes essential for college readiness and future success in life.  In our culturally relevant and engaging learning environments, students receive first class, standards-based instruction throughout all of their courses.  We are a caring community of educators and encourage students to connect and thrive in our learning community by offering award winning extra-curricular opportunities.

We appreciate the support of our parents, PTSA, Meadowbrook Education Foundation (MEF) and other integral and impactful community supporters.  In response, we will provide current, continuous learning and open communication with students, staff, families and community members.  As we continue to build and forge strong relationships to ensure student success, please be sure to reach out to our Mustang Family.  Our Community of Kindness is a loving environment that celebrates positive interactions and contributions of others.  In relation to others’ kindness, we learn to show gratitude and appreciation for all members of our community.  I look forward to an amazing year together.

Gratefully in your service,

Crystal Brownlee

Principal, Meadowbrook Middle School
