The Academy at Meadowbrook Middle School

We Exist because we care about providing our students with a well-rounded educational experience. Our students expressed a desire to explore multiple paths in their education and The Academy at Meadowbrook is structured to provide highly motivated students with a second elective choice, a focus on science and technology, and the opportunity to build their math and language arts academic foundation. The Academy at Meadowbrook serves 400 students. The students are selected based on their commitment to our Guiding Principles and a lottery process.

Meadowbrook Middle School serves over 1,200 students from a diverse ethnic, economic, and academic background.  Meadowbrook students are prepared to achieve optimal success through the hard and dedicated work of our teachers, staff, and students.

Students and parents at Meadowbrook Middle School have continuously expressed an interest in expanding opportunities for students to enroll in relevant and rigorous classes. Our school offers many wonderful elective courses for students but, like all other schools in our district, they are only able to choose one. By allowing students two elective choices students can take the academic classes necessary for success and still be exposed to the arts, which has been proven to increase student self-esteem, academic success, test scores, and general interest in school.

The Academy at Meadowbrook Middle School recognizes the importance of providing students with multiple opportunities to explore their interests and will create a relevant curriculum for students and their future. More importantly, we want students to have the opportunity to continue their involvement in electives and receive enriched curriculum in their area of need.
