Mary Kay Knock
Mary Kay has been counseling in PUSD since 2004 and at Meadowbrook since 2008.She went to Miami University, Oxford Ohio, and spent some time running her own bookkeeping business after graduating. It was at this time she realized her passion for working with students in a counseling compacity, so decided to go back to complete her Masters degree at National University. She has been married to her husband Mel, for 40 years and they have 3 successful children, Nathaniel, Shannon and Terrence. On her spare time she goes to Boot Camp and loves to hike at the beach.

Lea Garza
Lea graduated from Fresno State University in 2005. She and her husband Jaime decided to join the Peace Corps and spent over 2 years working in the food sustainability sector in Jinotega,Nicaragua. Upon returning to the states Lea decided to pursue her passion for helping all students see and reach their potential by completing her Masters Degree in Counseling from The University of San Diego. Before joining the PUSD family she worked at the elementary level as a school counselor for 6 years in another district. She has three children Santiago, Olivia and Evangeline with whom along with Jaime, enjoy hiking, camping, and basically being outdoors.

Nicole Pablo

Nicole is a passionate student-centered systems change advocate. Her early work experience began with college/career readiness programs both in North County as well as in Japan.She has experience counseling all levels, from Kindergarden through College. Nicole is currently an adjunct faculty member for the Counseling and School Psychology department at San Diego State University. She has also presented her data-drive work at local and national conferences. Nicole's personal adventures include traveling, reading, staying active (dance, hot yoga, hiking, boxing, and pilates) and spending time with family and friends. She looks forward to working with the staff, community and families of Meadowbrook Middle to help ensure all students are prepared and reach their college/career potential and goals.
