Registration for the 2020-2021 School Year will be held  in the ASES office (MPR Office).
 
Due to the PUSD-wide school closure, we have moved our registration ONLINE. Please be sure to complete the interest form above to be included in notifications and emails regarding registration activities.


Priority shall go to pupils who are identified by the program as homeless youth, as defined by the federal McKinney - Vento homeless Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. Sec. 11434a), at the time that they apply or at any time during the school year, and to pupils who are identified by the program as being in foster care. Second priority for enrollment will be given to students who can attend the full day every day.

 
  • Rising 7th and 8th Graders
    • Registration dates are April 20 - April 24, 3:30pm - 5:45pm April 23 - May 1
    • AM Program: Current AM ASES enrollees with 85% or better attendance rate (as of May 31st) will be guaranteed a spot in next year's program.
    • AM Program: Current AM ASES enrollees with 84% and lower attendance rate (as of May 31st) will be added to our lottery.
    • PM Program: Current PM ASES enrollees with 90% or better attendance rate (as of May 31st) will be guaranteed a spot in next year's program.
    • PM Program: Current PM ASES enrollees with 89% and lower attendance rate (as of May 31st) will be added to our lottery.
    • AM and/or PM Program: Students on last year's waitlist who complete a new registration form will be added to our lottery with double entries.
    • AM and/or PM Program: New registrants will be included in our lottery for selection in filling our remaining spots.
    • AM and/or PM Program: In the case of households with multiple new enrollees, if one student is chosen in the lottery, the other student will automatically be offered a spot.
    • Notification of program acceptance or waitlist spot will be emailed beginning the week of June 8th.
 
  • Incoming 6th Graders
    • Registration dates are April 27 - April 30, 3:30pm - 5:45pm May 4 - May 15
    • AM Program: Siblings of current AM ASES enrollees with 85% or better attendance rate (as of May 31st) will be guaranteed a spot in next year's program.
    • AM Program: Siblings of current AM ASES enrollees with less than 85% attendance rate (as of May 31st) will be added to our 6th grade lottery. (If either sibling is drawn, the other sibling(s) will automatically gain entry to the program.)
    • PM Program: Siblings of current PM ASES enrollees with 90% or better attendance rate (as of May 31st) will be guaranteed a spot in next year's program.
    • PM Program: Siblings of current PM ASES enrollees with less than 90% attendance rate (as of May 31st) will be added to our 6th grade lottery. (If either sibling is drawn, the other sibling(s) will automatically gain entry to the program.)
    • AM and/or PM Program: In the case of households with multiple incoming 6th graders, if one incoming 6th grader is chosen in the lottery, the other student will automatically be offered a spot.
    • Notification of program acceptance or waitlist spot will be emailed by the end of the week of May 11th June 8th.
