Spelling Bee Information

National Speeling Bee
BMMS holds an annual Spelling Bee each year in early February. The bee is held in accordance with the Scripps National rules, and is therefore open only to 7th and 8th grade students. Contestants are chosen from within the students' 7th and 8th grade Humanities classes. Our school's overall winner may compete at the county-wide spelling bee hosted by the San Diego County Office of Education, in cooperation with the Union Tribune newspaper.

Mr. March is our school bee coordinator, and questions concerning our bee may be directed to him at: emarch@powayusd.com .
