California State Seal of Civic Engagement

Beginning with the 2020-21 school year, students may submit an application for the State Seal of Civic Engagement (SSCE). The deadline to submit an application is April 23. Students will be asked to identify an adult reference who is knowledgeable about the student’s project and can speak to the impact the activities have left on the community. Continuing Student Registration runs from April 1st - 30th.

We must receive a completed digital packet for all returning students. This will allow for proper placement of your student for the 2021-2022 school year. This annual digital process allows a family to complete one single “family” packet instead of completing one packet per student. Packets can be completed using any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection. See the District Continuing Student Registration Page

We are so excited to continue our transition to on-campus learning! Recent changes by the CDC reducing physical distance requirements to 3 feet will allow us to combine our A and B Cohorts, for all grades 9-12. Starting April 5th, the first day of Quarter 4, students who have been designated as an on campus learner, may attend Monday through Thursday. Fridays will remain an asynchronous learning day.

Virtual Peer Tutoring

The Peer Counseling team is offering virtual tutoring services. Tutoring will be offered virtually via Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:10 pm-4:10 pm. If you are interested in getting additional after school support, sign up here.

Parent/Guardian Permission to Release from On Campus Learning

Students who choose to return to campus for in-person learning are expected to attend all of their classes on campus on their assigned day unless a parent or guardian has given permission for them to leave. If a student plans to leave campus early, the school requires prior notification authorizing the student to leave. You can provide this authorization by calling the attendance office or completing this Google Form. You only need to provide this authorization once if the request will be an ongoing occurrence. We request that students who are “off roll” leave campus unless the student is taking the bus home.

College Course Request Process

College or university courses, including online college or university courses, may be taken for high school credit if prior permission is received. Click here for full details and instructions.

Student Parking

The 2020-2021 school year will be different; no student parking permits will be issued. Instead, students are required to complete the Online Parking Permit Application Form, prior to parking on campus. Parking regulations are strictly enforced and students must abide by San Diego Police Department parking laws and regulations.
