NJROTC

Westview’s Navy JROTC is among the Nation's elite programs because it provides activities and teams for intelligent, athletic, and cyber-savvy students. There are 614 Navy JROTC programs across the Nation and overseas. Our unit is one of a handful of units to qualify each year for Navy JROTC Nationals in Marksmanship and for Drill, Athletic and Academic Championships. Our 40 cadet Drill, Athletic and Academic Team has qualified for Navy Nationals five times and been Area 11 Champions five times. Our Marksmanship Team has been to Nationals and Area 11 Championships every year and qualified for the JROTC All-Service Championship four times. Westview’s NJROTC CyberPatriot Teams won the California All-Service Competitions in 2019 and 2021. Our Academic Teams were Area 11 Champs in 2013, and our JROTC Leadership and Academic Board (JLAB) Team went to Nationals in Washington, DC in 2016. Students taking our class receive enhanced opportunities to attend Military Academies (USNA, USMA, USAFA) and/or ROTC programs at the nation’s most prestigious colleges and universities. Westview’s Navy JROTC cadets benefit from life lessons throughout high school and beyond.
