2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR LIBRARY HOURS
Monday-Tuesday-Thursday – 8:15 am to 5:15 pm.
Wednesday – 9:30 am to 5:15 pm.
Friday – 8:15 am to 4:15 pm.
The extended after school library hours are funded through the generosity of parent donations to the Westview Foundation.


LIBRARY WEB PORTAL: Library Catalog; GALE & ProQuest databases;  JSTOR; NoodleTools; Teen Health & Wellness; Overdrive eBooks & audiobooks and other subscription databases may be accessed 24 hours/day via the library portal. Database user name and password is available here or on the Library Portal page click on ACCESS PASSWORD link (must login to MyPlan to view password). Personal library & textbook records & holds may be accessed by clicking on, “Login” in the Library Catalog and entering their MyPlan login and password and clicking on, “My Info.”

TEXTBOOKS & INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT: Students are responsible for the barcoded items that are assigned to them. This includes books for class and equipment. Cover textbooks with brown paper bags or paper and protect them from rain & moisture. NO LAMINATED COVERS!

Students are expected to return borrowed textbooks and other materials in similar condition in which they were borrowed. Bring any unnoted textbook damages to the attention of the textbook/library staff within 30 days of checkout. In accordance with PUSD administrative procedure (6.84.1), the student and/or his/her parents are liable for the replacement cost or repair of any lost, vandalized, or damaged book. Textbook staff will assess charges in accordance with the replacement cost of the book and repair schedules posted on the Westview Library web portal. There is a $10 District service charge for refunds and/or processing. Students may access their textbook records by going to the Library Catalog and logging in with their MyPlan login and clicking on “My Info” tab. Also accessible via MyPlan app Destiny Library Catalog.
