Financial Aid - Need Based Money

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the core application for all federal and state, as well as most college aid.
FAFSA4caster, an online tool, at www.federalstudentaid.ed.gov, allows students to estimate eligibility prior to their senior year.
The easiest and quickest way to apply, including step-by-step instructions, is by using FAFSA on the web at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa. Visit the web before 8 a.m. and after 8 p.m. PST to expedite assistance.

Starting in 2016, the FAFSA will now be available on October 1. In addition, you will be reporting your income based on prior-prior year tax information when completing the FAFSA. For example, for a 2017-18 FAFSA, your income will be based on 2015 taxes.  Students and one parent will need to apply for an FSA ID at https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm in order to sign electronically.

Students who prefer to do a rough draft can complete the FAFSA on the Web worksheet. Call 1-800-433-3243 for additional help in filling out the form.

CAL GRANTS are funded by CA and are the source of free $$.
Our registrar will upload GPA information for current seniors to the Cal Grant system prior to the March 2, Deadline. Current seniors DO NOT need to complete a Cal Grant GPA Verification Form. If you have any questions regarding the Cal Grant process, please refer to the California Student Aid Commission website where you can create an account and track your Cal-Grant status. Click here for grant Information

CAL Grants consider academic GPA, and awards assist students pursuing further education at four year, community college, and occupational/technical sites. A FAFSA must be completed by March 2 to apply for a CAL GRANT. Learn more about the CAL Grant program at www.csac.ca.gov.
