Bronco Homework Reminder
BroncoHomeworkReminder.pdf
The Bronco Homework Reminder is a very simple and effective way for parents and students to keep track of what assignments they have and how often they are being completed. It relies on daily written communication from student, teacher, and parents. For students who are not writing down their assignments or "have nothing to do" because they have forgotten, using the homework reminder is a good tool to make sure that assignments are being completed.
Please note: most people use MyConnect as a way of checking grades and assignments for class online, but the homework reminder can be helpful where there may be faults with MyConnect updates or access issues.
Students - Write down each class they have for the day, and any assignments from the day. If there is "none," then that is written in the assignment box as well. Students next ask their teacher or substitute teacher to initial the page to make sure they have recorded their assignments accurately.
Teachers - Write their initials on the Homework Reminder to validate the accuracy of what the student has recorded in the assignment section.
Parents - Check their students work each day to make sure all of the assignments have been completed and then inital. Parents also check MyPlan (aka: synergy/Parentvue) to see that assignments grades and completions.
